PUBLIC NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON REQUEST
FOR ANNEXATION

The public will take notice that the Town of Gatesville has called a public hearing at 7:00 PM on April 5, 2023, at the Gatesville Town Hall on the question of annexing the following described territory, requested by petition filed pursuant to G.S. 160A-31:
On the right of way at a point of beginning a corner for April White; thence with White S 57 degrees 50’00” E, 145 feet to a corner; thence continuing with White S 29 degrees 00’00” W, 210 feet to a corner for White and Lucy Kors Heirs; thence S 37 degrees 53’00” E, 535.75 feet with Kors Heirs and Elton Winslow to a corner for Winslow and Charles Ellis; thence with Ellis N 52 degrees 00’00” E, 574.50 feet to a corner for Ellis and Phillip Godwin, Jr.; thence with Godwin N 22 degrees 10’00” W, 49 feet N 26 degrees 02’00” W, 101.00 feet N 58 degrees 37’00” W, 240.80 feet; thence N 40 degrees 40’ W, 549.71 feet a corner for Godwin and said property at the intersection with US 158 Bus.; thence along said right of way S 27 degrees 00’20” W, 393.0 feet to the point of beginning containing 9.40 acres.
